This my first Windows post on Windows NT. Today DosWorld go inside windows brand know as Windows NT Dec 1991 Prelease is not oldest build of Windows NT but close to it. Windows NT start out as Win NT/OS in 1988 probably early build was in text mode unlike later build was in GUI. Windows NT Dec 1991 Build is beta build has version number unlike Windows NT Oct 1991 Prelease Build. The Windows NT Oct 1991 was in 1991 Comdex. Windows NT Dec 1991 was same code Windows 3.1 Beta in 1991. Today we used Windows NT based Operation System like Window XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 all these go back to first Windows NT in 1991. This is beta version but Windows NT have long to go.

Microsoft Windows NT 3.1 Codename is NT/OS/2 Microsoft Windows NT 3.1 post be Microsoft OS/2 2.0. Microsoft OS/2 came from Multitasking MS-DOS 4.0. Multitasking MS-DOS 4.0 came from both MS-DOS 2.xx and 3.xx. I like said Microsoft Windows NT 3.1 did evolve from MS-DOS Family. Microsoft marketing as Standalone Operation System that part is true it also part Microsoft MS-DOS Family Tree where OS/2 branch out from MS-DOS.
